Online training

The PROTECT-Europe project aims to promote HPV gender-neutral vaccination across Europe.


Objectives:

This training aims to enhance the HPV knowledge and communication skills of healthcare professionals.

Methodology:

This course aims to enhance the HPV knowledge and communication skills of healthcare professionals through online training in English-language, with the following modules being released weekly:

HPV vaccines: From Prevention to Confidence building (20hs)

  • Module 1: HPV and related diseases (3hs)
  • Module 2: HPV vaccines: an overview (3hs)
  • Module 3: Prevention of cervical cancer (3hs)
  • Module 4: Prevention of other HPV-related diseases (3hs)
  • Module 5: Single-dose schedule and special populations (1.5hs)
  • Module 6: HPV vaccine safety (3hs)
  • Module 7: How can a healthcare worker promote and sustain vaccine confidence (3hs)

Once released, the modules remain available until the end of the course, so that the student chooses the most convenient time for learning.

The training is free and self-paced, so that the training materials remain available once they have been released.

CME accreditation:

Each of the HPV vaccines: From Prevention to Confidence Building modules has its own exam and is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 3 European CME credits (1.5 European CME credits in case of module 5).
